Six teams form the world elite of waterpolo…
2005 Sziget GP – Budapest, January 7-9
The “2005 Sziget Grand Prix” – organised by UTE VB Leasing in January - features six men’s and four women’s teams. The tournament on the Margaret Island in Budapest is expected to be a highlight of the waterpolo season.
The men’s competition of the Grand Prix will be played in round-robin format meaning, that there will be 15 high-profile matches during the three days of competition. The field includes three of the top domestic teams and three foreign clubs. All participants are contenders of the two most prestigious European club competitions (Euroleague and LEN-Trophy).

Besides the strong field of men’s teams, ladies get into the spot-light, as well. Four of the best domestic teams are invited to compete for the trophy: Domino-BHSE Polo, BVSC, Szentes VK and Dunaújvárosi Főiskola-ELCO.
